3 Phrases to Describe my Dance Background are:

1. Grew up dancing at The Dance Centre in Tuscaloosa, AL since I was two-years-old!
2. Was a member of the Alabama Ballet and a Dance Major at The University of Alabama (Roll Tide!).
3. Performed in the Nutcracker every year of my life from age 7 to 29.  I've been everything from a Clown to the Sugar Plum Fairy!

Rhythm Role:  I teach ballet to all ages...from the teeny tiny Fairytale Ballerinas all the way up to Senior Edge! I love all styles, levels, ages, etc. Dance is seriously my favorite thing!!

Years Teaching at Rhythm: 14

Fun fact: My mom took me to dance when I was 2 because, I demanded to watch the ballet Don Quixote EVERYDAY!!! (with a home-made paper fan as a prop...of course) Also, my first jazz dance was to Pink Cadillac & I still remember the steps!

Favorite Rhythm Year-End Show: Rhythm in Wonderland (2010)

When not at Rhythm dancing, I play with my three silly kiddos, hang out with the best husband on the planet, and spend as much time outside as possible!
