Acro

We are so proud of our Acrobatic Progam, which is a separate program from our Dance program! Acrobatics, or “Acro” as it is commonly referred to by dancers, is defined by Acrobatic Arts as the “beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements.” We are excited to offer a curriculum through Acrobatic Arts and continuing to grow this program at Rhythm Dance Center! 

For Preschool/Kindergarten Acro, we encourage but do not require another Ballet or Jazz class. For all other age groups (Kindergarten-2nd and 3rd-5th Grade and 6th Grade+), in order to get the best results for this program, you must be registered for Ballet and/or Jazz at Rhythm Dance Center in order to sign up. This program is heavily based in ballet and jazz, so understanding and learning the proper terminology is needed to achieve the best results. The monthly fee for Acro is $85 and is in addition to/separate from your monthly dance installment. We are so excited to start this new journey at Rhythm Dance Center and are excited for the benefits it will bring our students!

What to Wear for Acro

Lycra fitted jazz shorts and/or leotard, fitted tank or half top, leggings. No baggy t-shirts/shorts. Hair pulled back from face and neck.
