Elizabeth Wexler
Dance Instructor
Birthday: September 15
3 phrases to describe my dance background:
1. I started dancing at age 3.
2. While in college at Kennesaw State University, I was one of the first dance company members the year the program started in 2005.
3. I've danced in nearly 25 professional musical theatre productions here in Atlanta.
Rhythm Role: Teaching a variety of classes including Twirl and Twirl to the Max, Hip Hop/Jazz and Musical Theatre. I’m also the director of Rhythm’s brand new musical theatre program, Marquee Magic!
Years Teaching at Rhythm: This is my third season teaching at RDC! It's going to be a great year!
Fun Fact: I once met Ben Vereen after a show and told him Pippin was my favorite musical. He asked if I knew any of the choreography (I learned the original choreo in the show I did) and he asked if we could dance a couple of 8 counts together. As a dancer, it was by far one of the highlights of my life.
Favorite Rhythm Year End Show: Rhythm Story! All three of my daughters were in it, and I loved the high energy pace of the show!
When not at Rhythm, I really enjoy volunteering at my kids school, hanging with my hubby and playing with my three daughters, who also dance at Rhythm. My girls and I love crafting, too!
