3 Phrases to Describe my Dance Background are:

1. I started dancing at age 3 and have always known being a professional dancer and teacher is what I wanted to do with my life and here I am! 

2. I danced my first principal role with a professional company at age 21, which was Cinderella in Tom Pazik's "Cinderella", and it remains my favorite role that I have ever danced! 

3. I founded my own dance project (Roots Dance Project) that brings dancers from all over the country together annually to perform in the Atlanta Fringe Festival. I direct, choreograph, and dance in these productions. I am also currently a professional dancer with Kit Modus, under the direction of Jillian Mitchell and guest as the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker every year!

Rhythm Role: I am the former Director of Ballet and even though my husband's job moved us to Savannah, I will continue to choreograph ballet for some Performing Company group dances, and guest teach when I can!

Fun fact: I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, and moved to Atlanta fresh out of high school to dance with Atlanta Ballet. I have also lived in Nashville where I also danced professionally. 

Favorite Rhythm Year-End Show: Rhythm Story

When not at Rhythm, I am usually dancing somewhere else. You can say I'm a little obsessed :) But when I have a free moment, I am hanging with the pup, going to concerts, traveling, trying new restaurants, or asleep on the couch with a whole Netflix series playing in the background.
