Executive Assistant, Digital & Customer Experience

Birthday: September 17

Three phrases to describe my dance background are:

  1. Both of my kiddos have danced at Rhythm! My son Jeremy took hip hop classes & performed in GMx with Coach Jeff before graduating high school & my daughter Vanessa started in Twirl at age 2.5 (thanks to Beth Mason!!) & is now in her second to last year of dance performing in Edge.
  2. I took adult tap classes at Rhythm a few years back & was immediately humbled. It's SO MUCH HARDER than the kids make it look.
  3. I'm very happy being behind the scenes & have mad respect for anyone willing to put themselves out there in front of an audience. For context, see above. :)

Rhythm Role: Executive Assistant, Digital & Customer Experience, enthusiastic helper-outer in creating all the things!

Years Working at Rhythm: This is my first official year on staff but I've been lucky enough to have helped out over the past few years crafting, costuming, creating year-end show props, backstage & dressing room assistance during performances -- anything & everything I could to be part of helping to make the Rhythm magic!

Fun Fact: I met my best friend, Beth Mason, in 7th grade & we remained close all through middle & high school. We rekindled our friendship through Rhythm & are now inseparable. She's even taught me how to cut & sew which means I get to help her create all the amazing costumes Becca & Dani envision for each season. There's nothing quite like seeing something go from a drawing on paper to sparking on stage...it's been so incredibly fulfilling to be a part of that creative process!

Favorite Rhythm Year-End Show: Each one has been crazy-good but have to go with Wonka & The Rhythm Factory since it was the first time my girl was up there on stage in the production & it was all the feels.

When not at Rhythm, I am…: Sewing costumes with my bestie or, chilling with my hubby or, being dance mom to Vanessa. When none of the above, you'll probably find me out on a walk which is my favorite way to reset my brain & recharge my battery.
