2026-2027 Performing Company Auditions

Thank you to every dancer who auditioned this season! We are so proud of you! Your hard work, dedication, and passion were so inspiring to watch, and we hope you're proud of yourselves too.

This year was our biggest auditions ever - with nearly 350 dancers auditioning, our decisions were not easy. Please know we followed a thoughtful, consistent process, spending many hours reviewing, meeting, and carefully placing each dancer. We take this responsibility seriously and truly appreciate your trust.

We know placements may bring surprises, especially if you're separated from friends or placed differently than expected. But this is often where growth begins - through new opportunities, leadership roles, and new friendships. Every decision was made with care, and we hope you'll embrace your journey.

Our decisions are final, but we welcome respectful conversations. As you know, this is a very busy time of year for everyone, so we appreciate your patience with our response times.

Please remember, all dancers will receive an email with more details. Whether or not you were placed in a company, keep striving, keep growing, and most of all, keep dancing! We’re so proud to have you at Rhythm Dance Center and can’t wait to keep dancing with you!

NEW this year: Instead of our traditional in-person meetings, we’ll be sharing informational podcasts. This is primarily due to our time constraints with all the new studio craziness but we hope you find it convenient as well to listen any time is best for you! We plan to be back to in-person meetings next season.

If you are new to Rhythm, new to Performing Company, or currently in a company but auditioning for a different one (for example: currently in Connection but auditioning for Edge, Mini Stars auditioning for Connection, Fusion auditioning for Edge, etc.), a parent is REQUIRED to listen to both the general Audition Process podcast and the specific episode for the company your dancer is auditioning for.
